As a senior Psychotherapist and supervisor I have worked in NHS psychology services for over 15 years, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked within specialist eating disorder services and physical health settings, alongside my long established private practice. In my clinical work I aim to cultivate skills in compassion to promote feelings of safety, self acceptance and warmth, with a particular interest in treating self criticism, shame and trauma. I have contributed to the development and facilitation of CFT groups and have experience in utilising mindfulness and guided practice.
